Privacy Policy.
LAST UPDATED · JUNE 12, 2026
Peak Signal Trading LLC (“Peak Signal,” “we,” “us”) builds trading intelligence software. We are not in the business of monetizing your data, and this policy is written to be read. It explains what we collect, why, who touches it, and the controls you have.
01. Scope
This policy covers personal information processed when you use peaksignaltrading.com, the Peak Signal platform and applications, our APIs, and our support channels (together, the “Service”). It does not cover your broker, your bank, or any third-party site we link to — their policies govern their services. Peak Signal Trading LLC, 141 W Jackson Blvd, Suite 2200, Chicago, IL 60604, is the controller of personal information described here.
02. Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email address, hashed password, subscription tier, and the preferences you set (watchlists, alert thresholds, guardrail budgets).
- Billing information. Payments are handled by a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor. We receive and store your plan, invoice history, card brand, and last four digits — never full card numbers.
- Usage and device data. Features used, pages viewed, log data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, timestamps, and crash diagnostics.
- Optional brokerage sync. If you connect a brokerage account for position sync, the connection is read-only and made through a licensed account aggregator. We receive positions and balances only. Your brokerage credentials are entered with the aggregator, never with us — we never receive, transmit, or store brokerage credentials. You can disconnect at any time in settings.
- Support communications. Messages you send to the desk, including the contact form and email.
03. How we use it
We use personal information to operate and secure the Service; calibrate signals, sizing, and guardrails to the parameters you configure; process subscriptions and send transactional messages; respond to support requests; monitor for fraud and abuse; improve our models and product using aggregated, de-identified measurements; and comply with legal obligations. Product and research emails are optional, and every one includes an unsubscribe link.
04. What we never do
- We never sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We never trade on your data. Peak Signal runs no proprietary trading desk, and synced positions are never used to inform trading by us or anyone else.
- We never share your positions with third parties, other than the processors that operate the sync pipeline under contract on our behalf.
05. Sharing
We share personal information only with: (a) service providers that process it on our instructions — payment processing, cloud hosting, product analytics, email delivery, and brokerage-data aggregation — each bound by data processing agreements that restrict use to our documented instructions; (b) professional advisers under confidentiality; (c) authorities where required by law or valid legal process, in which case we will notify you unless legally prohibited; and (d) a successor entity in a merger or acquisition, with notice to you before your information becomes subject to a different policy. We may also share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
06. Cookies and analytics
We use first-party cookies for sign-in sessions, security, and saved preferences, plus a first-party analytics cookie that measures feature usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not participate in cross-site tracking. You can opt out of analytics in Settings → Privacy or via your browser controls; essential cookies cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in.
07. Retention
We keep account information for the life of your account and, after closure, only as long as required for legal, tax, and audit purposes — generally no more than seven years for billing records. Brokerage sync data is purged within 30 days of disconnection. Encrypted backups age out on a rolling 35-day cycle. De-identified, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
08. Security
Peak Signal maintains a SOC 2 Type II attestation, renewed through independent annual audits. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest (AES-256). Access to production systems is role-based, logged, and protected by hardware-key multi-factor authentication; multi-factor authentication is available to all members and required for staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
09. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, or export your personal information at any time — most of it directly in Settings → Privacy, or by emailing privacy@peaksignaltrading.com. We verify requests and respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the rights to know, correct, delete, and port their personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, so no opt-out is required.
EEA and UK (GDPR). We process personal data on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation. You additionally have rights to object to or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact for GDPR matters: privacy@peaksignaltrading.com.
10. Children
The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact privacy@peaksignaltrading.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We will post any updated policy on this page with a revised “last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Contact
